Dear Parent/ Guardian,

It is with great pleasure that we bring this fantastic performance opportunity to your attention. On 25th January 2019, we would like to invite your son or daughter to take part in “A Play in a Day” Performing Arts workshop. The workshop will take place in St. Pius X College, under the guidance of Centre Stage Performance Company. Year 7 students from Holy Family and St Pius X College Year 8 students will come together in this collaborative project to prepare and perform a full scale production in one day!

We will be working on a “Musical Mash-up” learning songs, dances and scripts from classic musicals including; ‘Annie’, ‘Matilda’, ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!’ At the end of a jam packed day of rehearsals we will finish off with a performance for family and friends! The aim of this workshop is that the participants will grow in confidence, develop skills and have some fun.

There is a limited amount of space available for this workshop, and they will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. The workshop is free, and there will be a charge of £7.00 per ticket to see the evening performance (information on ticket sales will be released at a later date). Please if you would like to secure a place for your son/ daughter read the information overleaf, complete and return your registration form by Friday 21st of December.
