On Tuesday 13th March Year 13 Geography students spent a morning completing a river fieldwork investigation on the upper River Roe as part of their AS Geography studies. The students entered the river at appointed sites and collected data on a number of river parameters for analysis and later interpretation. In the afternoon they made a visit to Portstewart Strand to observe dune succession in progress. A productive and excellent day was had by all and luck for us we even saw the sun! The pupils were accompanied on the day by Mrs MA Diamond, Head of Geography and Ms S Rea, classroom assistant.
