Geographical Association Lecture

As part of the Geographical Association lecture programme 2014-15, Year 13 AS Geography students attended an evening lecture on the 30th September 2014. The lecture was presented by Dr Ro Charlton from NUI Maynooth at the School of Geography, Queen’s University Belfast. The lecture looked at the causes, beneficial and detrimental effects of flooding in the Ganges-Brahmaputra Basin, the case of Bangladesh. The series of lectures concentrate on the themes and elements from both the AS and A2 Geography specifications providing updates on theory as well as relevant and informative case-studies.
