Bellaghy native, Fr. Frank Diamond, who has been working in the Tanzanian missions since June 2008, expresses his thanks on behalf of the local people in this impoverished country. Fr. Diamond currently works in education, health care, community and personal development. Local Tanzanians often walk three to three hours to attend Mass in their country. Staff and students from St. Pius X College thoroughly enjoyed the visit by Fr. Diamond, Fr. Maningi, Mark McMahon (Children in Crossfire), Dennis Maina (Lake Victoria Disability Centre).

Mr O’Neill, (Head of Year 10), presented Fr. Maningi with a cheque, raised by Year 10 pupils to bring to his village of Maski in Africa.
