Session1        1.00 – 3.30  Year 10 & Year 11 Pupils

1.00pm            Kilronan Pupils arrive

1.15pm             Sentinus Work Shop – Kilronan

1.15-1.30         Arrival of all  Year 10 / Year 11 pupils from other schools.

1.45-2.15         SentinusWork Shop 1- Sperrin Integrated / Rainey

2.25-2.55         SentinusWork Shop 2-Magherafelt High /St. Pius X/St. Marys

1.00-3.15         Pupilsvisit exhibitions

3.15-3.45         Pupilsreturn to schools

 

 

Hospitality / Catering

  • Light Lunch  / Tea / Coffee on arrival for Afternoon  Session.

  • EveningTea served from 4.30 – 8.30.

  • Tea/ Coffee available throughout  the evening.

LEARNING INTENTIONS

  • To increase pupil’s awarenessof the range of pathways available at Post 16 / Post 18.
  • To provide opportunities forpupils and parents to engage directly with a broad range of representatives from the both the world of Education and Employment.
  • To  inspire pupils to achieve their full potential.

 

  

PUPIL PREPARATION

  • All  pupils in Years 10-14 will engage in ataught  Careers  Education programme  in the three weeks leading up to the Convention to ensure pupils are fully prepared and  informed on all aspects of the Convention.
  • LearningObjectives /Content has been agreed which will include a specific focus for each year group.
  • All information will be made available on the Schools/ MLP Websites with links to all representatives attending allowing pupils to research information on those attending.
